Thane Marthoma Parish has a growing population of Senior Citizens. All the Parish members above the age of 60 years are members of this fellowship. Sr. Citizen Fellowship is functioning in this Parish for more than 20 years. At present we have a strength of 113 members (60 – 69 years = 64, 70 -79 years = 35, and 80+ = 14 members).

We meet on 1st Saturday of every month either in Church or at the residence of a member on request. Our Vicar/President Rev. Jolly Thomas preside the meetings regularly which are inspirational to each of the attendees. In addition to the devotional subjects/Bible quiz, we meditate over topics like psychological / health management. Occasionally, we also invite experts from outside the parish. We remember and pray for each and every member who celebrates their Birthday and Wedding Anniversary. Members who turn 80 and those celebrating 50 years of married life are felicitated. We attend and host the Kalyan Center Sr. Citizen Fellowship meetings.

House visit. We regularly visit the sick and physically weak Sr. Citizens and spend quality time by talking to them, singing songs and praying with them.

Ecumenical activities. We conduct singing competition for Sr. Citizens from various denominations of Episcopal Churches within Thane and award prizes which is enjoyable and memorable.
